What do you do? 31 Our fathers had the manna in the waste land, as the Writings say, He gave them bread from heaven. 32 Jesus then said to them, Truly I say to you, What Moses gave you was not the bread from heaven; it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 The bread of God is the bread which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world. 34 Ah, Lord, they said, give us that bread for ever! 35 And this was the answer of Jesus: I am the bread of life. 　April 19, 2026 Have a good day! ----- Third Sunday of Easter ----- ☆ Gospel: Luke 24:13-35 13 And then, two of them, on that very day, were going to a little town named Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 And they were talking together about all those things which had taken place. 15 And while they were talking and questioning together, Jesus himself came near and went with them. 16 But their eyes were not open that they might have knowledge of him. 17 And he said to them, What are you talking about together while you go? 18 Then stopping, and looking sadly at him, one of them, named Cleopas, said to him, Are you the only man living in Jerusalem who has not had news of the things which have taken place there at this time? 19 And he said to them, What things? And they said, The things to do with Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet, great in his acts and his words, before God and all the people: 20 And how the chief priests and our rulers gave him up to be put to death on the cross. 21 But we were hoping that he would be the Saviour of Israel. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 And Jesus said to them again, May peace be with you! In the same way, with the cup, after the meal, he said, This cup is the new testament in my blood: do this, whenever you take it, in memory of me.

Then one of the twelve, who was named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said,

What will you give me, if I give him up to you? And the price was fixed at thirty bits of silver.

And from that time he was watching for a chance to give him into their hands.

Now on the first day of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Where are we to make ready for you to take the Passover meal?

And he said to them, Go into the town to such a man, and say to him, The Master says, My time is near: I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples.

And the disciples did as Jesus had said to them; and they made ready the Passover.

Now when evening was come, he was seated at table with the twelve disciples;

And while they were taking food, he said, Truly I say to you that one of you will be false to me.

And they were very said, and said to him, one by one, Is it I, Lord?

And he made answer and said, He who puts his hand into the plate with me, the same will be false to me.

The Son of man goes, even as the Writings say of him: but a curse is on that man through whom the Son of man is given up; it would have been well for that man if he had never come into the world.

And Judas, who was false to him, made answer and said, Is it I, Master? He says to him, Yes.
