May 30, 2026 Have a good day! ----- Saturday of the Eighth Week in Ordinary Time ----- ☆ Gospel: Mark 11:27-33 27 And they came again to Jerusalem: and while he was walking in the Temple, there came to him the chief priests and the scribes and those in authority: 28 And they said to him, By what authority do you do these things? or who gave you authority to do these things? 29 And Jesus said to them, I will put to you one question; give me an answer, and I will say by what authority I do these things. 30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven or from men? give me an answer. 31 And they gave thought to it among themselves, saying, If we say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did you not have faith in him? 32 But if we say, From men--they were in fear of the people, because all took John to be truly a prophet. 33 And they said in answer to Jesus, We have no idea. And Jesus said to them, And I will not say to you by what authority I do these things. ----- ☆ Jude 17, 20b-25 17 But you, my loved ones, keep in memory the words which were said before by the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, 20b building yourselves up on your most holy faith, and making prayers in the Holy Spirit, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for life eternal through the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. 22 And have pity on those who are in doubt; 23 And to some give salvation, pulling them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the clothing which is made unclean by the flesh. 24 Now to him who is able to keep you from falling, and to give you a place in his glory, free from all evil, with great joy, 25 To the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, let us give glory and honour and authority and power, before all time and now and for ever.
