Gospel : Matthew 5:20-26

20
For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

21
"You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, 'You shall not murder;' and 'Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.'

22
But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

23
"If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,

24
leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

25
Agree with your adversary quickly while you are with him on the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison. 26 Most certainly I tell you, you shall by no means get out of there until you have paid the last penny.

2 Corinthians 3:15 - 4:1, 3-6

3:15
But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.

16
But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

17
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

18
But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

4:1
Therefore, seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don't faint.

3
Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying,

4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

5 For we don't preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake,

6 seeing it is God who said, "Light will shine out of darkness," who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
